  1. Start by removing all the pedal pins, these are accessed from the back of the pin

  2. Once the pins are removed simply pry the wearplates off the pedal body
    • Once the pins are removed simply pry the wearplates off the pedal body

    • Newer pedal plastics include slots for a flat blade screw driver if you are having trouble prying the plates off

    • For older pedals it may be helpful to loosen the wearplate before removal by prying a corner up

    • Clean the pedal bodies before installing new wearplates

    • Wearplates are side specific. If you can't get a wearplate to line up, it may be for the other pedal

    • Push firmly on the wearplate to engage it on the pedal body

    • Re-install the pedal pins
