TRS D-type guides will accommodate chainlines from 48.5 to 51.5mm
-
For more information on determining your chainline, please see Chainline explained
-
For this retention device we adjust chainline using spacers between the chainguide backplate and the frame
-
-
-
Start by opening upper slider
-
Open the metal clip on the upper slider
-
Flip the clip open
-
Release the latch and rotate the upper slider open
-
-
-
Install the guide on the frame with the black T-spacer and the shorter of the two bolts using a T25 Torx wrench
-
This will put the chainguide at a 48.5mm chainline
-
-
-
Close the upper slider and sight down the front of the guide and chainring
-
Add the silver spacers behind the T-spacer to center the slider over the chainring as needed
-
-
-
Tighten the fixing bolt to 6N*m
-
-
-
Adjust the upper slider height for your chainring size by loosening the T25 Torx bolt and sliding up or down on the backplate
-
Center the upper slider fixing bolt in the valley of a chainring tooth and tighten to 0.9N*m
